It offers a two-deck mixing interface, with a central mixer, effects and sampler console.

Under the mixing desk is the library, split into DJ ProMixer NB Netbook saved playlists, and an explorer for your Netbook's hard drives. There is no support for iOS devices. The explorer isn't great - Traktor's system of allowing you to open your iTunes library is much simpler, for example. Searching through your Windows folder tree is a pain.
Once you've found your music, loading tracks into the mixing desk is simple. BPMs are automatically calculated, and generally quite good. There are plenty of functions, and a switch to activate well mapped keyboard controls. despite its name, DJ ProMixer NB Netbook doesn't look great on a small screen. The interface is detailed with lots of small buttons that simply aren't ideal for netbook monitors.

Released unofficially on its own website, AIM Preview is not yet replacing the old AIM everyone knows and enjoys using. Instead, it seems to be marketed as an entirely new and improved messaging client, with a built-in video chat feature.
AIM Preview's interface is relatively simple to navigate. There are a few changes, however. First, Lifestream, which encompasses the basic status updates your friends saw on their buddy lists on the old AIM, has been replaced. AIM Preview comes with actual status updates now, like what you'd be accustomed to on Facebook.
In fact, Facebook has now become integrated with AIM. You can log in to AIM Preview with your Facebook account, for one. You can also chat with Facebook buddies on AIM Preview, as wells as buddies on Google Talk. While this isn't technically a new feature to AIM itself, it's a lot easier to figure out how to use with AIM Preview.
In addition, you can access chat histories from virtually any device you have AIM Preview installed on as the histories are now remotely stored. While this allows for synchronization, it also might bring up some security issues. There's a news feed that links to AOL-owned Huffington Post articles as well.
The biggest difference is the new availability to video chat either one-on-one or in groups, which is very similar, if not identical, to what Skype offers now. If not for the ability to connect to your buddies via Facebook and Google Talk though, the feature might seem a little useless, considering AIM doesn't generally boast as many users as other IM clients.
AIM Preview adds some new features and functionality, although it still doesn't really compete with video chat frontrunner Skype.

PC Performer does it's job well although it isn't much different from similar products that do the job equally well such as Uniblue's RegistryBooster.
Overall
PC Performer is a slick and quick registry cleaning app, with an easy to understand interface and detailed reports. However, it could be improved with extra cleaning tools for application caches and histories like CCleaneror Glary Utilities.

Some players might be disappointed in that there isn't a big variety of characters to currently choose from compared to other games in its class.
Graphics in Vindictus are very crisp and impressive. It's the little details that matter here, and the background imagery is really quite well put-together. It's hard to really take time to enjoy the setting though, as Vindictus is action-packed and chances are you'll be busy fending off all manner of enemy attacks. The combat can get repetitive and you may need to repeat stages in order to move forward in the game though.
Players navigate through Vindictus with their keyboard keys. This is also how you attack your enemies. While it can take time to get used to which keys do what, it gets easier as you continue to play and isn't a major impediment to learning to play the game.
This game might be considered a little too violent for younger children due to graphic fight scenes, so parents be cautioned.
Vindictus makes fighting fun with great graphics and a fun storyline.

Obviously, writing your own also takes technical know-how, but there's absolutely no obligation to do the creative part yourself. Zoom Player is a slick player of online multimedia content for Windows PCs.
In a market that's saturated with media players, Zoom Player attempts to be two players in one - a no fuss simple one and an advanced one with just about every imaginable tweaking and customization option.
It's a unique offering and chances are that if you've found your current player lacking in some department, you'll find what you're looking for in Zoom Player. If you just want a bare bones media player, then you may be better opting for something like VLC Media Player but Zoom Player lets you have your cake and eat it if you need something with a little more to offer.
The basic version of Zoom Player comes installed with a graphic equalizer, playlist editor and everything else that you'd expect in a basic player. Zoom Player's professional version however comes with a whole lot more power, including a more powerful Playlist Manager, added safety features (such as password protection), Media Definitions plus Web Remote (so you can control Zoom Player from your web browser) and an Extended command line interface, exposing many Zoom Player functions directly from the command line. Finally, the professional version also supports playback of DRM protected movies and music (Windows Media DRM).
Zoom Player's interface is slimline but expandable very easily. By clicking on the circle of dots in the bottom right hand corner however, you reveal a top bar within the main screen which is packed with features. The symbols used in the menu aren't particularly helpful as they look like hieroglyphs so your only option is to work out what each one does by trial and error. These advanced features include a station manager (for streaming radio and TV channels), skin changer and media library editor.
Indeed, the amount of options in Zoom Player available will intimidate anyone that just wants a playback application. It takes quite a while to understand what all the audio options offer, for example, although there is an extensive list of help files that comes bundled with the installation to help you. This is probably the biggest annoyance of Zoom Player: the advanced options seem extremely "spread-out" and it's rather overwhelming to get to grips with where they all, let alone what they do.
On the plus side, one particularly useful feature of Zoom Player is that if you don't have the correct codec installed, it will tell you the exact one you need without the need for a third party inspection device. Playback is smooth, files are loaded quickly and the playlist supports ID3 tags. You can also easily change skins through the skins editor plus you can download more from the developer site.
Zoom Player is two players in one - a basic player that serves you well and an advanced player that offers a lot of options that you'll probably never need but will no doubt appeal to power users.

As with most major P2P portals, Tribler allows you to browse simply by media category, and the most popular content is displayed first. What I really liked about Tribler, however, is the preview function. When you select a file, you can choose whether to preview or download it. Preview it by clicking the big Play button and Tribler will search for other users with the file so that you can see whether it's worth downloading. The disadvantage of this though is that the previews take ages to load as it searches for other users with the same material.
The settings are very limited. You can configure a nickname for your profile on Tribler, a maximum upload and download limit, the router port you want Tribler to use, and a default download location. It doesn't save your search terms, so you have to retype them if you want to search a subject regularly.
Overall, Tribler is an excellent P2P file sharing client for those new to it, although seasoned users will find it more than lacking in certain areas.

Gameplay
The basic missions in APB: Reloaded see you playing as Enforcers or Robbers. Basically one side will be trying to achieve something, while the otherside has to stop them. This is sometimes fun, but often you'll find your fun spoiled by 'griefers' - other players who just want to ruin your mission. All online games are at risk or griefers, but they seem particularly prevalent in APB.
Driving is pretty well handled in APB: Reloaded, but the shooting can be frustrating. Running around creating chaos is fun for a while, but the repetitive missions and bland cityscape soon start to spoil your enjoyment.
Sound, graphics and customization
The sound is pretty good in APB: Reloaded, but unfortunately the graphics are look a bit dated. It looks and feels like a cheap Grand Theft Auto, although this seems to fit with the garish customization that's allowed! In APB: Reloaded, you can pretty much customize whatever you want. It's not quite Saints Row, but you can get some very funny results is you play around with character customizations.
Conclusion
APB: Reloaded is free to play, so there's no reason not to check it out for yourself. If you're waiting for GTA V and want somewhere to create violent havoc, APB: Reloaded will provide this. With more accurate shooting and more mission variety, this good be an good game, but currently it still feels like a mess, albeit a fun one.

As useful as it is, this is still very much a work in progress. There?s still a lot of work to do but the basic functionality (search/download/upload) is there along with some nifty features (such as IMDb support, filename templates and multi-language support) plus more to come according to the developers.
This is a really great tool if you own a ton of DivX or Xvid films that you've never been able to watch because of lack of subtitles or you'd like to distribute to a wider audience.
